Lesson 1: School of the Eagle
Hearing God for Yourself and Others
by Richard Kinney
Why is it important to be “flexible” in relationship with God? To be willing to be surprised? To step out of a predictable little box we may have tried to put Him in? This is vital because He is so much bigger than us. We can’t control Him or predict Him. We don't want to shield ourselves from hurt and risk so that we never venture forth in relationship. We want to risk making ourselves vulnerable to life, relationship and failure in the hope we can be met by God in a surprising and fun way.
